Hey James Frye. Fuck them. You are an inspiration to millions of people, this author included. For that I thank you. I do see both sides of the coin on this, but i do agree with your statements on Larry King Live. "The essential truth is in tact".

Secondly, it has now been 10 days without a cigarette. I have gotten hostile a few times at work..but hey..what do you want. Try quitting then you will know why its such a giant ass sucking experience.

F&%# James Frye. I write a memoir and say it is non-fiction that is essentially the truth. I say only 18 pages are in dispute. Well, ok, I guess in those 18 pages if I say I killed more than the Green River Killer and Ted Bundy in one day, divorced and remarried, visited the Pope, when I did none of that, then because the other 400+ pages are exactly the truth, it is essentially the truth. A few pages can say a lot my friend.

In regards to James Frey and his amazing novel..I will agree with you on one point. If only 18 pages are in dispute..and lets be honest...18 pages ARE complete bullshit...why exaggerate any of it.
In essence, I see your point. In essence , he fucked up. In essence, however...it is a great story of enduring, and beating the odds. Look at the big picture.
