Birthdays....

In a few short weeks I will be celebrating another year of my life. I will be finishing my 31st trip around the galaxy and looking for at least 31 more. I hope to see many more.

Life is an amazing thing. Fragile yet strong, unpredictable yet boring as hell.

I have been reflecting. It is a good thing to do once in a while.

The world around us continues to collapse:
murders, kidnappings, sex offenders, the religious right, the diminishing of people to do and say what they want because of the conservative slant in this country. You know what's funny....Republicans always talk to me about how the Democrats want to take care of everybody...make sure everyone is taken care of...and they have a problem with that. Yet those same people are the ones who go around telling me what I can read, or buy, or listen to , or watch in the privacy of my own home.

Why dont you all shut up and go back inside of your glass house.


HYPOCRISY is more of a threat to our national heritage than ever before. Dont preach to me about what is right. Walk the Talk. Live your life that way and a helluva lot more people will be willing to come along.
