Rush to the Pharmacy

Mr. Limbaugh,

You have tried to hold yourself above everyone else for your entire career. You have tried very hard to come off as one of the elitists you protect. Well, the white trash, farm fed, fat American has shown through. Lay off the scripts bro.

And do me a favor,

The next time you think of speaking down to someone for their religious, political, or moral beliefs...remember your pillbox at home.

I wish you continued failures in your rehab program. May the walls of your personal pit be covered with grease, allowing you no escape.

Look on the bright side; at least you're comfortable with microphone shaped objects close to your mouth. Enjoy yourself.

Sincerely,
EJ Wasson

Don't feel like you have to...

I have been many things in life, and some of them I have done well.

There are few things I am better at than shameless self-promotion.

I am a man-whore. But, I believe in EJW Creations.

here is where I spend my time creating when I am not writing:

New Music...

In the upcoming tour of NIN during the Summer of 2006, he is touring with Peaches.

I learned of A Perfect Circle, Marilyn Manson, and the Dresden Dolls all by opening acts for my favorite band of all time...

She is no exception. Do not listen to with the kids, but lie in bed, shut off the lights and let it seep in.

Hard to explain: Electronic, Techno, Industrial, Gothic, Sensual

try it. if you are an itunes person, they have her there. Click on the album teaches and click FUC* THE PAIN AWAY. If you are like me, you will probably buy it then.

if not....you are weird.

If you apply for a WHITE HOUSE position....

Make sure your resume is "fair and balanced"

My ass.

Tony Snow sucks.

This administration is running around like a chicken with its head up its ass.

But then again, this has been going on for 6 long years.

April Showers Bring 500 Miles

April is almost behind us, and that means one thing for me; The Indianapolis 500 is getting closer.

Hot Damn.

Freelancing going very well. Wrapped up two projects this weekend. Working on two more the next two days, and then may have a small break to get back to writing Settled. The more I think about it, the less I know for sure which one I should finish first. I like them both, both different stories though.

Time will tell.

The new book, regardless of title, will be ready for you to buy somewhere on October 1, 2006.

More details once I commit.

I know i know, here he goes again.

Hope all is well...

a break from writing....

I am working well tonight. The words are flowing, and the story is practically writing itself. The best part about being a writer is when I feel like this. I think about something and I can see it so vividly in my mind and can translate those mental images to words and construct something concrete. My abstract pictures of what it will look like, work through my mind and my fingers and out it comes. And the best part about that is there are those who actually enjoy what I write.

I am the luckiest guy in the world sometimes. And it's always right after I have worked the hardest.

On a non-writing note, The Dresden Dolls released their second album yesterday. Two words.

Freaking wonderful. ( not that great from a writer right?)

Buy the first one, its self titled. Then buy this one it's titled Yes, Virginia...

They combine the speed of punk, the beauty of the piano, and the harshness of rock and roll. All done under the guise of a Weimer Era german punk cabaret thingy.

Nothing like them. But i guarantee you this. If you are open minded with your music, buy this. You will fall in love with them as I have.

Also, they are coming to Cincinnati in mid-July.

I will be there....

So much time, so little to do...

No wait...scratch that reverse it.

That has to be one of my favorite lines from the original Willy Wonka movie. Just cracks me up..and right now that is where we stand.

Busy working on freelance projects. We have submitted most of them complete. Right now we are working on a story and a new article that will published in the coming months. I will direct you to those links when they become available.

All in all things are well.

As long as I close my eyes from the rapes, canibalists, wars, nukes, floods, earthquakes...

back to your regularly scheduled programming

Acclaim comes in

Though I usually hear good things about my writing, it is either through book reviews, or emails from the readers.

Today, I got a facelift of sorts. On www.ifreelance.com, I have received some praise for a recent job. I thought I would share this with you!

http://www.ifreelance.com/provider/reviews.aspx?providerid=7387

It always feels good to be recognized for hard work. Writing is such a solitary process that the opinions of those I write for is worth far more than any money I make.

Kind of ;)

I intended to change the way people freelance...

But, I never thought it would happen this soon.

Below is the exact email I received from Mirage Productions, a freelancing outfit. I find this comical, as I am sure you will. What I enjoy most is that it is poorly written. When people are losing business they will say things that do not make sense. Personal attacks? Foodstamps?

Why is this necessary? Because I know how the game is played and he doesn't.

Here is the email chain unaltered: ENJOY!!!

Hi,

I am a bit curious why you bid so low. I was checking out some pricing on the site and noticed that you underbid so ridicules.

I am figuring that either you: (A) Don't think too much of your self, (B) Just learning how to write and need experience, (C) Starving and ran out of food stamps, or (D) want to ruin everyone else's chance to earn a decent wage for hard work.

Just curious which of the 4 you are

Thanks for inquiring on our processes at EJW Creations.

We do not feel the need to justify our bidding process to you.

But we will give you one small hint.

Open your eyes, see through the MIRAGE.

Things are not what they appear.

Also, we would like to point out we feel you are A, B and C in your below chart.

Well wishes,
EJW Creations

I have a cleaner, more efficient way of doing business, which obviously costs less.

I am paid well for the words I write.

And I write well for which I am paid... I love symmetry.

Brokeback Mountain

I expected something...

I got something...

very different than I expected.

See this film. Open your eyes, see it for more than what it has been sold as.

I would have never thought of myself as a "Gay Cowboy movie" fan.

But, I am a huge fan of Brokeback Mountain.

In life, art, movies, books, songs....they are what you make it.

not what they are made as.

All is well on EJW Creations front. A few more projects to finish and then I dive back into settled.

Go Reds.

Busy, Busy, but a good busy.

EJW Creations has finished up some of the freelance work on our plates, and as we continue our works in progress, I thought I would take a moment and say hello.

I do have a new novel coming, though the progress has been slowed due to the increased business EJW Creations has been taking on.

The new novel is titled: Settled

More info to come on that...but far too much work to do on the freelance front.

Hope all is well, it is here. continually so.

Ghostwriters in the sky

Though EJW Creations has been creating for quite a while we have recently joined a freelance website: www.ifreelance.com

I am pleased to announce that just after 8 days in the marketplace we have landed our first ghostwriting assignment. I obviously cannot go into any details about this, but this is a great first step for us with our new freelance partner.

More to come, hopefully some projects that I can actually tell you about, and take the all important "credit" for. That will come.

For now, I am working on my new novel. It is approaching 10,000 words and is humming along nicely.

I want to tell you the title.

a team of 5 people

15 yrs of combined college education.

40 years of combined writing/ editing/ tutoring of the English language.

EJW Creations is a strong team of people...and even though we specialize in the written word, our corporate website showed the following:

"We not only promise great a client interaction, we guarantee it."

obviously, it should be A GREAT, not GREAT A, and we have now rectified that problem.

We are supposed experts in this field. We are supposed masters of our language.

And we still made such an easy mistake. The eyes, and more importantly, their relationship to our mind, is an amazing thing. Mistakes have become so commonplace perhaps, that the brain doesn't even see them anymore.

Sadly, for a short while, we were part of that problem.

From everyone at EJW Creations; a sincere, deep apology for our oversight.

The bigger firms, the critics, the people who think small will say,"I told you so."

I will say to them soon, "Catch me."
