I have to say it feels amazingly good to be creating a novel again.

Big news soon, if this keeps up it may not be that surprising to some. Especially those that know me well.

It seems so hard to step away from a project that has been out there and get back into it.

So...sometimes... you have to think, create and tell the world something else.

I wrote over 2000 words tonight.

and in breaking news. I moved my Nine Inch Nails collection from my PC to my laptop.

All in all? A good damned day.

Busy busy times

The past week has been amazingly busy. I have been getty my laptop ready for writing, creating logos, working on a new childrens series (details to be announced soon), and karaoke singing.

Uhhh, yes..the last part is true.

Silverton Cafe in Cincinnati is a wonderful place. I met a few friends there to watch some games, drink some drinks, and even get in a song or two.

I went with my standbys: Light my fire, the doors. Closer, nine inch nails. Both went over well.

I even got to bash Bush during Closer. It was well receivied.

So, I had been building up some steam, and had to let it off.

Steam off, Work on.

Appreciative of your comments...(but)

I have been receiving emails from my readers stating a word of caution about my writings. They tell me I need to become more politically correct to avoid offending those who may be finding my work for the first time through this blog. Do not take this in the wrong way..please.

IF I DO THAT, IF I SPEAK IN POLITICALLY CORRECT LANGUAGE AND CORPORATE SPEAK, I FEEL I AM CHEATING THE VERY CAUSE I WRITE ABOUT.

And if this causes people to respect me less instead of more, I ask you to find something you would risk everything for. Find something you would give up the entire world as you know it for..and keep after it. That is what I have done. That is what I will do.

The freedom of speech is a beautiful thing.

smiled upon....again

David Gray and Aqualung played in Cincinnati last night. I was there.

There was one song I knew. I missed it in the drink line vying for my double call Jack and Coke. I felt like I was in a movie most of the evening. You know those movies where there show scenes of a concert and the band plays a few notes and the crowd goes wild...Thats how it felt. I looked at these people and thought...Do you really think David Gray is THAT GOOD????

I do not. I knew it wasnt my speed going in, and that should have been my first clue. Musically, great show. I really like Aqualung, they are a bit Coldplayesque. Check Aqualung out.

8 days agao I had been at the Nine Inch Nails show, and now I was here. It was a sad moment. I also remembered when just the previous year, well...November of 2004..Marilyn Manson had played inthe same venue (The Taft Theater). Marilyn Manson was amazing there...I had hoped for the same. Maybe next time.

The Taft Theater is beautiful, and a great intimate place to catch a show.

I did enjoy the show, I love live music. But there was a definite lack of power, anger, and energy that I crave at a show. I require a concert to take me away from my misery, to make me forget all my problems, to make me check out.

I was inside my head all night..and jesus, thats a scary ass place to be.

I did come up with a hell of an idea for a new book. But when doesnt that happen.

Lets do this again.....soon.

Going to David Gray/Aqualung concert tonight. Not my crowd, not my music, but I go with an open mind. I love...maybe more than nothing else..to fall in love with a new musical group.
