jesus, can anyone get a blog these days?

I was surfing around the blogs yesterday and found that many of them are pathetic boring accounts of people who have nothing to say. I am going to do a little experiment.

Let's say that edgar is going to write another journal, but this one is a blog. See if you can find it. If you do? U will know.

nothing, but progress

I have been informed that my global marketing plan hit a snag last week, and that is why it has not been fully implemented. The only person in the whole fucking world that could fix it is on vacation.

If you look the word "luck" up in the dictionary, you will never see my picture.

I feel like an IndyCar pulling out of the pits, high power, lots of energy, yet my wheels just keep spinning.

Sometimes, it just feels good to smile and say,

"God Damnit"

its been a few days so here i go

Its monday, the sun is rising to the east and commuters are rushing from their cars to make this bus. It is the last that runs to the city after all, so its either this one or drive to the city...using gas, frustrated with other drivers, and finding a spot to park in. Not us, we ride and jump off at the closest stop to our places of employment. My stop is quite close, block and a half I suppose. Well worth it I think. Bus filled and moving.

The weekend was good, but short. Aren't they all?

Golfed on friday and saturday. The first time I have golfed on two days back to back in 16 years. I played well enough to want to do it again. Soon.

Had a very graphic dream about a suicide. Mine. I was in a third or fourth story apartment. I had ordered a kit designed to kill you as you jumped out of the window. It was a very sporty looking noose type thing. It was blue and black with an intenst velcro closure. The string was a thin high test nylon, that had a caribiner that attached the string to this hook. The hook was a lobster claw hook and was drilled into the wall with an anchor to keep it in when the weight of the body pulled the string tight...deadly tight. I had a few friends over whom I didn't know in real life but these friends were watching me install the apparatus. I checked the window, looked down to see how short I needed to make the rope. You don't want to go to long you know. The friends seemed excited to be there. Once the apparatus was installed, I velcroed the noose around my neck. I then asked my friends to leave. They said they were going to park a bit up the street to watch. When there car had pulled away, I hooked the noose to the end of the nylon rope. I walked over to look down again at the ground, and closed my eyes. In my minds eye, I ran and jumped through the window, saw myself fall violently, and when the string ran out, my body jerked very violently. I opened my eyes. I walked back to the line I had painted on the floor. The go line. I looked ahead at the window, I reached up and removed the noose from my neck.

homeless on the internet

I must admit, it is weird not checking my stats for visits to ejwasson.com. However it was time to move on. My time as a webowner was fun. But, not worth the hassle frankly. My sales have not decreased from the lack of a website...nor did they increase with one.

It gave me an efficient way to get my name out there a bit, it gave me a website to throw at the wall and hope it stuck, but with Google and Yahoo, any search for EJ WASSON will bring you quite a few results. In the end, visits don't mean anything purchases do. If this is your first time to my blog, stay around. Read some of my prior posts and you will get caught up quickly. My email address is now a bit longer than the old one...

Ejwasson@vzw.blackberry.net

Feel free to use it to learn more about me and my creations.

We'll talk soon.

a little too big for their britches

The company with which I host my website has decided I am using too much bandwidth, and have decided to raise the fees substantially. Its their business they have every right to charge what they want to. However, www.ejwasson.com is going offline forever...or until I get a web hosting arrangement I think fair. The fees at my current, have gone above fair. The web, and website hosting is a commodity. I can do it anywhere. The majority of visitors to my website are those who see the bumper stickers/business cards that have been handed out across the nation. The majority of my book sales has been from word of mouth, or jump throughs from a handful of webrings I had subscribed to. Also, Alan Emmins and his spoiledink.com website have brought a lot of outsiders interest to my novel.

FAQ's:
Am I quitting writing?

No. Absolutely not.

Isn't the web a necessary evil for an author who isn't published in a "big house"?

If this book had just come out? Probably so. I have enough interest I can use the synergies already in motion to get my novel out to those who need it.

What will be the next book finished?

Good question. Several are being worked on.

Where will be the source for your info without ejwasson.com?

Right here. And spoiledink.com.

Ejwasson.com has seen its last days. The site goes dead in seven days.

Sitting in jacks downtown diner on lynn alley in columbus ohio. Old time rock n roll on the jukebox, disco ball over head. Since 1942 it says. I believe it.

august and more

This world is getting worse everyday. First, john bolton gets to be the un ambassador because the senate is on recess. Pres. Bush slid him right in. I expect nothing less from this man. The king of saudi arabia passed away causing the price of oil to rocket up a dollar per barrel. I wonder if the Bush family had not been the royal knob polisher, if the price would have been effected as much.

Anyway, it is what it is.

Next,
Sickness. I am not feeling well at all. Throat hurts, head stuffy, all the great stuff that comes along with a summer cold.

Also,
The book is still being loaded into the system for the global marketing plan I have created.

Enough for now.
